The reason we have specialized in Irish genealogy for more than 25 years is simple- it’s much harder research than some other ethnic groups.
Our Services
Our research products are very straight forward. We work in blocks of time. You are contracting for research time and expertise. No genealogist can guarantee results. You will receive a detailed footnoted Research Report, Calendar of sources examined, and photocopies of the documents found. This process allows us to provide a quality end product to our clients. The research being offered by The Journey Home Genealogy is as specialized, as it is rewarding, by its very nature.
Each family is unique, as each country being researched has different record keeping practices. We do offer our clients discounts for purchasing in multiple blocks of time.
If you would rather conduct their own research but are in need of a consultation, we offer this is 3 hour blocks of time. You will receive our best suggestions based upon years of experience as to what you should do, and where you will find the records.
